Dashboard
The landing screen: what each number means, which warning needs acting on now, and where it leads.
The dashboard is the one screen you see on every sign-in, and it is built to be read in ten seconds. It is not for doing work — it is for deciding where to go today. Every tile leads somewhere.

Controls on this screen
- Monokaido AI credit — Tokens remaining, and the way to manage them. If this strip is absent, the AI runs on your own key.
- Subscription — How much of the package you have used. An exceeded limit turns red, and this is the only place you learn about it before something stops working.
- Portfolio value — The sum of selling prices across the catalogue — a rough measure of how large a catalogue you manage.
- Updated products — How many products changed price or stock in the last 7 days.
- Normalisation coverage — The share of parameter values mapped to your own list. The unmapped figure leads to Value mappings.
- Image ALT/SEO coverage — How many images carry ALT text. The target is 95 % — below it, a button appears to generate the missing ones.
- Distribution by vendor — Which vendor accounts for what share of the catalogue. Useful when deciding which feed is worth tuning.
- Vendor health — The badge is the number of vendors in error. This is the one part of the dashboard that asks for an immediate response.
- Error cards — Vendors whose last import failed or stalled, with the reason.
- Vendor tiles — Product count and time of the last successful import, per vendor.
- What's new — The latest changes to the application. A green dot beside Changelog in the footer means something landed today.
Account status
The top band answers "where do I stand".
| Field | What it does | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Monokaido AI credit | Token balance for the AI features. | Shown only when Monokaido AI is switched on. With your own API key the strip does not appear — your provider accounts for the usage instead. |
| Subscription | Package usage: vendors, products, team members, storage. | An exceeded limit is marked in red. Products beyond the limit are not imported, so this is worth watching before it happens. |
| Portfolio value | The sum of selling prices across the catalogue. | Not revenue and not stock — it is the size of the catalogue expressed in money. |
| Updated products | Products whose price or stock changed in 7 days. | A zero with active vendors means imports are not running — check the Import logs (Opens in a new tab). |
| Brands · Categories | How many brands and categories the catalogue holds, and the largest of each. | A sudden jump in category count usually means a feed brought its own tree. |
Catalogue
The middle section is about the quality of the data, not the quantity.
- Products created (last 7 days) — the daily intake. A flat line at zero means nothing is being imported.
- Normalisation coverage — how many parameter values are mapped to your own list. The unmapped figure is a queue of work waiting in Value mappings (Opens in a new tab).
- Image ALT/SEO coverage — how many images carry ALT text. The target is 95 %; below it, a button appears to generate the missing ones.
- Distribution by vendor — each vendor's share of the catalogue.
Vendor health
This is the one part of the dashboard that can demand an immediate response. The badge next to the heading is the number of vendors in error; when there is a number, cards above the tiles spell out the reason (a stalled import, say).
The filters above the tiles — All, Errors, Warnings, Running, Healthy — narrow the list. Each vendor shows its product count and the time of its last import. The strip below the tiles is a live feed of imports currently running.
News and help
Bottom right is What's new — the latest changes to the application. A green dot beside Changelog in the footer means an entry landed today.
At the very bottom, a collapsible How it works section summarises the flow of data from feed to shop.
Why does “Updated products” read zero when my vendors are running?
Either the feeds genuinely sent no price or stock change, or the imports are failing. Vendor health tells you which: the error cards and the time of the last import give it away.
What happens when I exceed the product limit?
Existing products stay, but new ones beyond the limit are not imported. Raise the limit by changing the package in Settings (Opens in a new tab).
The dashboard is slow to load. Why?
It gathers figures across the whole catalogue. At tens of thousands of products that takes a few seconds; the tiles fill in as each calculation completes.
