The catalogue's languages, the source language, and the automatic translation rules.

A language in Monokaido is not just a translation — it is a market. Every target language carries its own currency and its own pricing, so adding one opens another market rather than merely another language version.

Controls on this screen

  1. Add languageA new target language, with its currency.
  2. Target languagesHow many languages besides the source you have.
  3. Translated productsTranslated against total. This is the real state of the work.
  4. Translated categoriesThe same for categories.
  5. Stale translationsTranslations whose original has changed since. A non-zero figure means the shop is showing old text.
  6. Source languageThe language the products are written in. Everything else is translated from it.
  7. Target languagesEach is a market of its own, with its own currency.
  8. OrderDragging changes the order languages are offered in.
  9. StarMarks a language as the source.

Adding a language only opens the market. The translation has to be run.
